I haven’t updated the blog in a long time so I thought I might give a quick update on what I’ve been up to recently.
I finished the line and copy edits for Controlled Burn, and the ARCs are now going out! Woo! This also means that reviews are going up, so someone needs to take away my access to Goodreads immediately! 😉
I’ve got another m/m romance coming out this fall from Riptide Publishing called Life on Pause.
It follows a hopelessly dorky museum worker and a high school choir teacher as they fall in love, screw it up, and then fall in love again. It includes too much Battlestar Galactica (as if there is such a thing), prairie homesteader garb, choral music, and toys (the sexy kind, if you know what I mean). I’m really excited about this one, and I hope other people like it too.
I’ve also started writing a sequel to Controlled Burn that follows Joel’s best friend, Travis. He was such a bright spot to me in Controlled Burn, so I’m hoping other people are interested in his story as well.
That’s about it on the writing front. I’m settling in to this Alaskan summer. We have lots of visitors from the lower 48 coming up to enjoy our awesome weather and perpetual sunlight. My parents are here right now, and we’ve been nonstop all week! I will try to add some pictures from our adventures later this summer. I have to go through the hundreds I’ve taken and delete all the duds. 🙂
In the meantime, enjoy this flower. They are all over downtown Anchorage and I can’t figure out what kind of flower it is. If you know, please tell me!
Until next time! 😉
