Natural Disaster comes out soon, and as always, I want to provide readers with some content warnings. This is a contemporary workplace m/m romance with a large helping of adventure. It’s about two storm chasers and set in Oklahoma during tornado season.
There are a few warnings I’d like you to be aware of:
- Explicit sex
- Explicit language
- Tornadoes and dangerous weather situations
- The main characters find themselves in very dangerous weather situations. They are close to tornadoes multiple times in the book and witness a high water rescue during a flash flood. There are descriptions of tornado damage and destruction. No characters (major or minor) die from tornadoes during this story, but it is recognized that this is a real danger.
- Discussions of childhood neglect
- There are conversations about childhood neglect and trauma. One of the characters grew up in foster care and has difficult memories surrounding almost being adopted. The other character’s father was mostly absent when he was a child, but when he was there, he irresponsibly took the character storm chasing.
- Antagonistic relationship with parent
